We had massive fog one morning and could barely see down the street as we waited for the bus.
Lily cracked us all up ... as usual!!!! We were laughing because she had been pretending to be asleep on the couch!
The girls rode horses for the first time since we moved to KY.
Hannah got to know her new buddy, "Bo", from the stables 2 miles from our house.
Lily rode on "No More" & had a great time.
Lily especially liked the trotting part. Not surprising at all. She & Hannah are so similar. The faster, the better!!!
Lily, No More & her wonderful sweet instructor ... a very fun afternoon!!!
Hannah bringing Bo back to the stable.
And what the girls loved the most at the stables was Callie, the pig.
Lovely.
Makes me think of lunch right after church on Easter Sunday.
Lily & I met up with some other moms for play time at an indoor gym area. Very fun watching Lily climb all over & discover!
Another mom offered to take our picture. Look, I have on make-up & I actually left the ponytail holder at home -- a first since we got to KY. So glad this moment was documented!!!
Lily had fun driving the car all over the place. She was very good about taking turns with the other kids & waiting patiently for her next turn.
And we hung out a lot in the backyard area playing, doing stuff & having fun. This is the first week since we moved here that it is has not been blazing hot. What a summer we have had ... humid, humid, humid!!! It has been a nice week getting to know my outside deck & spend time with Lily outside during the day!
We are blessed.
I am thankful.
Every day without my daughter attached to an IV pole is a total blessing.

You are an amazing mom and I love you! I'm so glad you're liking KY. My brother just stopped for a one night visit. He lives in Lexington and hopefully someday we'll be able to visit him and YOU! xoxoxox Brigitte
ReplyDeletep.s. I am so grateful our awesome Lord's grace, for Hannah's health and Lily's pure joy.
Oh, Debbie, I just continue to love reading about your life! So glad it's so normal! Your daughters are beautiful....but I just have to say, as for the pig: THAT is definitely a face ONLY A MOTHER could love! Ugh!
